Of course I have been all over the internet searching for inspiration. There are so many beautiful dressers.
Anyway, here are my ideas for my new dresser:
1. Maybe I should go with two colors. This chest is gorgeous...
2. What about a distressed white washed dresser?
3. Maybe I should leave the dresser alone as is? No work but no fun either.
4. Maybe I should go with just one solid color? I like this little cute chest...
5. Another possibility is to stain the top of the dresser instead of painting everything.
6. Maybe the world should be more colorful! :-)
7. I like the idea to paint the dresser the same color as the wall...
8. What about this dresser? Beautifully glossy...
My mind is spinning with so many choices!
What about you? Has anyone found any good treasures on Craigslist recently?
Hope you all have a great Friday!
Thanks for stopping by.

You are the dresser queen! lol ;)
ReplyDeleteThat dresser is sexy. Two tone sounds cool. No matter what you choose, I am sure it will look grand! :)
hahaha I am always looking for a new dresser. That's true!
DeleteThanks for the comment Julie!
I like both of the blue dressers the best.
ReplyDeleteAren't they adorable?!
DeleteMy father has used a chest of drawers like this for over 40 years. It looks the same as the day mom bought it. I love maple furniture like this. I guess it has to with fond memories. I vote leave it alone if its in great condition or paint it something masculine if it isn't.

DeleteCame to you from mms. Just had to say this was a steal AND this is the same one we have in our bedroom. It was my husband's boyhood dresser. I actually plan on cleaning mine up with some hemp oil from MMS. Ours has some aging/wear but I will leave it and just freshen it up:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Sweetbug Studio!
DeleteI love your dresser! $20! Wow what a bargain! It is beautiful as is if you love the warm wood color. It would be just as beautiful painted white or maybe the blue of the last one you showed us. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Good score!
ReplyDeleteI love that white washed dresser. I've been wanting to do something like that.
I'm sooooo jealous!!! $20???!!! I can't even get a cardboard box in my town for $20....grrrr But enough about me...
ReplyDeleteHave you thought about leaving it all natural except for the drawer fronts and dresser sides? I can easily see this in ASCP Duck Egg and then dark waxed. I'd also darken the hardware to oil rubbed bronze. I feel you though. This is such a great piece...it has to have the right treatment! Good luck...can't wait to see what you've chosen!
Love it!!! I am hoping to find a dresser this summer at the yard sales.. we purchased our bedroom set from Levin's yeaaaars ago, and the dresser has NO room in it.. so I would love to find an awesome piece this summer and restore it. This piece you found is a beauty! I can't wait to see what you do with it! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a whole lot of dresser inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love that pink/purple/lavender one - wow ( but my customers would never buy it :(

So hard to choose, isn't it? I have two dressers I'm working on - one will be lime green and I'm not sure about the other yet. Good luck with your project! Stopping by from My Repurposed Life's Catch as Catch Can 119...
